Meet the Devs - 2019

Diego Ricchiuti

Digital Innovator and Creative Director @ Affinity Project

Co-founder and Creative Director at Affinity Project, an independent software house based in Italy.

 

With Affinity Project, he developed Don-Ay, the first donation game ever made.

Diego also works as game designer in Techland, as teacher in the Game Design course at AIV - Italian Video Games Academy, and he worked at Ubisoft for Ghost Recon Wildlands too.

His education includes a degree in IT for Digital Communication at Bocconi University in Milan and a bachelor degree in Game Design at the University of Suffolk.

Pervasive Games tools & tips

Gamification, ARG and Applied Games are now commonly used words, but with the arrival of IoT and 5G we will soon see the rebirth of Pervasive games, that invade and change the reality. The workshop is addressed to anyone interested in pervasive games but never had the chance to get a deeper knowledge. We will talk about pervasive games, from their origins to a list of tools that participants can use to create their own pervasive game.
