MAURIZIO GABRIELI
Director of the Master in "Music for Videogames"
After his graduation in Composition, Bassoon and Electronic Music, Maurizio became a teacher in Composition at Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He's also teacher of the first Level Master in Music for Videogames.
Since 1981, he composed music for drama, ballet, cinema, television and animation, multimedia artistic installations and orchestra in Italy and abroad.
Maurizio perfectly masters composition, music theory and music.
Algorithmic and non-linear composition
Algorithmic composition, a procedural approach to create music, early appeared in the first centuries of our music culture and as a recurring event in history.
Today, in game development this approach meets the features of adaptive, non linear composition, giving many chances of innovation in music creation.
